I have a newspaper theme, i am using the old fashion template – originally the article inline ad was working fine, when i left indent it, text would wrap around it (top, right, and bottom).
But now for some reason, it does not work as it used to be.

Hi yourbackupemployee, I just made some tests and more my with Newspaper v11.2 the classic inline ads are working correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/RCo2BW8.png -> https://i.imgur.com/czbImPg.png
The thing is that on your article I see that the inline ad is not display https://i.imgur.com/PWMzqfF.png please check with a banner and see if this is working correctly, maybe it is from some AdSense settings.

you need to refresh the page – these are google ads, sometimes there are no ads showing up due to geo locations and other variables.
But the inline article banner is still not wrapping paragraphs around as supposed to.

Unfortunately that is coming from Adsense from what I can see. You will have to manually edit your code to be smalles as Adsense recommends here: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9183363?hl=en
