Article Inline ads still showing even though no AdSense code

Hi all

on the desktop version of my site I add the sidebar ad on articles only but I see inline ads as well both in articles and pages (obviously I didn’t add any code to each article or page). I double check in the theme panel and there is absolutely no Adsense code except in the “sidebar ad” box. How is that possible?

Thanks

Quick update: I removed all the ads code in the theme panel but i see now an ad at the vere bottom of the site just below the footer. What is that thing? I don;t even know how it appeared and I dont know how to get rid of it. Any help please?

Hello,

Check all the Ads Spots from your Theme panel and remove all the code from there, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Thanks for your reply.

I’ve done that already. There is no code in there not even for mobile theme (the only code is the AdSense verification code in the <head>) and I cleaned the cache. It’s very awkard that the articles shows adsense in differetn location with different browsers:

With Chrome I see a banner in the article (inline) and one at the bottom of the page (below the footer)

With Firefox I see a big banner above the title and also at the bottom of the page (below the footer).

I’m really puzzled
