On my articles, it seems the view count is pulling from the “Views” within WordPress, however they are displaying as 0. Which is what I see in my WordPress dashboard.
However, I use JetPack, which shows my articles are getting thousands of views.
How can I make Newspaper pull the “Views” data from the JetPack number and not the default WordPress views number?
I have attached a photo to show that the numbers are vastly different.

My recommendation is to disable the theme view counter and use the one from Jetpack. If the theme view counter is turned on, it will consume more resources.
To enable the post view count from the theme, you should have it in the theme the ajax count enabled https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/ and also you need to have the option for show post view in the theme panel enabled – https://i.imgur.com/taOJcn9.png and in case that you are using a single post template, the the element for view post count should be set on the template – https://i.imgur.com/tVszkKI.png
