Please try to uninstall it or install a different demo and reinstall the dark theme.
the corrupted icons you see are because of CDN and fonts loading from another source. Please follow this topic to fix them: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/

Try it like so:
The solution to the problem is to put the line of code from this link on top of the htaccess file. Literally put it on top, not inside the other lines of code, but just on top.
Not the whole thing or else it will screw up your webpage. Just this part: Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
Make sure you copy from StackExchange so it copy and pastes correctly, because the htacess file is one of the most delicate parts of operation.

Thanks for the follow-up emails, much appreciated. As instructed I have deactivated, deleted and reinstalled both plugins from Newspaper\includes\plugins folder. And have activated both. Additionally I have copied the code from the stack and inserted it into the htaccess file.
Unfortunately nothing has changed. Social icons still remain confabulated. The good news is that I opened a new page and successfully used the Visual Composer to place an element.
As for the message else, a rss or another plugin and id does not create the main body classes needed for the demo. I cannot find the single or page classes anywhere on your site. I have no idea how that has occurred as I used only your theme. I have absolutely no idea where to start to rectify the problems

I continue to have enormous issues with Newspaper Theme 7. Panels are disjointed meaning when I try to an element to a page the panel where you expect to select the category and the one below for the number of posts disappears off screen. Social Icons still do not display. I really need support not a cut and paste of a page Bob lee
