Hello, I have such a problem. There are two authors on my web-site. If I click on author’s link to see posts, instead of author’s page it would go to the home page. Could you please tell me how to deal with the situation.

I had this happen once. Check the wp admin > user – and then check the “username” to make sure there are not any bad characters, or a space in the name. Also, resave your permalinks.
I had one user account where a blank space after the username messed things up, as I think it was trying to put a %20 in there and that so did not work.
e.g., /site/author/bunny%20/ …
Might not help but check those two things first
1) username/nickname, which is used for the author URL (e.g., “bunny” would be /site/author/bunny )
2) resave permalinks — for some reason this sometimes fixes things after WP update or any major change.
