Yes you can show author box on sidebar, just go to the Widgets and add it like this: http://screencast.com/t/r89uQGu3

Thanks for the quickl reply, but actually i’m talking about the author box that shows beneath the post content ant meta stuff. The one that shows the post author bio.

Hi,

Unfortunately the author box from posts can’t be added as a widget, the one recommended by Alin is what the theme has designed for this.
You could try something similar to the “About me section” that we have on our demo on classic blog stack: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_classic_blog/

Hi unfortunately that does not work ’cause we’re running a magazine with hundreds of authors.
I’d found this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-biographia/, but i think it would be a great addon for a next update. []s

I will add this on our feature requests list and we will consider it for future updates, however we have almost 200 feature requests and we have to pick very carefully what we implement, if more people will request this we will consider it.
