I’ve got request ( from my authors… ) – to make some “facelift” in author box.
If the is a big text – its “flow-together” – not accepted any lines-break, or text-formatting styles, etc.
There is also a big demand to make the magazine multi-language support — but only 1 author.php – and when I used Polylang plugin – it wasnt give multi-lang to author pages .
Maybe the WPML plugin better as it translates the custome post types- as well..
Anway – first things 1st.. please help me give a stylish look to author-boxes.

That would depend on what changes you would like to make to the author box. Visual improvements could be made with CSS. The browser inspector can be used to customize various elements on the website, if there are no theme elements for this
