A few months back my author images just disappeared. The author box and bio are still present, but the image is not. https://www.cbtnews.com/coalition-of-caring-dealers-providing-support-during-pandemic-recovery/
Hi CBTNews,
The author image was added only for single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, therefore you’ll need to use one f these cloud templates to display the author image.
Hi,
In order to make sure that the user avatar will work, you must to make sure that you are using one of the methods provide by us in our documentation for author card -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/author-card/ make sure that the author has set an image.
Also you can edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and check if the author image is enable -> https://i.imgur.com/QmlPEGj.png -> https://i.imgur.com/grRi4PR.png also this posts is not using a single post template and is using a standard post style -> https://i.imgur.com/REI1B9u.png
Also make sure that you do not have some plugins that can interfere with our theme functions.
Thank you!
Thanks. I just don’t think that should be my only option to fix this…
1. The TagDiv Cloud Library is not available in my theme plug-in options.
2. My other site that was built in the newspaper theme, uses the same formats and template, is still showing the author avatar. https://www.myasbn.com/articles/six-upcoming-virtual-small-business-events-in-atlanta/

Hello,
Please check if you have this option enable from Single Post Author and in tab General => https://www.screencast.com/t/2LqJDjUNnY
Also, sometimes this issue can be caused by a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks for the reply. I tried: https://imgur.com/a/Swg2EoE

What do you mean by this…? Do I have to deactivate and stop using cache plugins that could help improve the speed/performance of site…?
Cache plugins I’m using: Redis. WP Super Cache. CloudFlare. Autoptimize.
Please advise. My site: https://www.emakayah.com/

Hello,
Please make a test only with tagDiv plugins, that is, disable other plugins that are not part of the theme and enabled them one by one, and see after activating one if there is a problem and so on until you find out which plugin is causing the problem.
There is a possibility that one of the plugins used may not work well with the theme, for example, Redis and Autoptimize are untested plugins with our theme (or some setting from that plugins interfere with the theme).
Thank you!
