Author Name, Category and Date on Big Slide

Hi,

I recently figured out how to add the author name to the modules and regular slide, but have yet to figure out how to do the same for the Big Slide.

As is, it only shows the title. Is it possible to add the Author Name and/or Category and/or Date to the Big Slide?

Hi,

Unfortunately theme doesn’t have an option to show author, category or date on Big Slider, this can be achieved with custom modifications to the big slide module as it was not designed to display meta info.
Please note that in Newspaper 5 will be added more option in Theme Panel for this.

Thanks, do you know when the new update is going to come?

Also, are there any substitutes you would recommend for something similar to the Big Slide? ..that would show the author name along with it?

Hi,

We don’t have an exact date, we’re still working on it, if everything goes fine we will release it at the end of the month.
