Hi,
In our news portal there will be a section called ‘Opinion’ where various writers will give their article. How will we incorporate the author names there. Should we add every single author as new users from the WordPress dashboard or is there some better way.
Also if I add new users in WordPress, WordPress requires me to create username, email and password for that user. I cannot give access to the site for any author who is writing in “Opinion’ section because they are not staff reporters.
However, I still want to display the name as a meta info in the post details.
Kindly have a look below to better appreciate my concern. Look at the author under each article title, they are not staff reporters however their name is displayed.
Please advise me how to achieve it.

If is not what you mean, please provide more details about this, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so will be able to provide a more accurate response. You should provide some useful screenshots to show me the exact section where you want to add this meta.
