Author Page Not Displaying on Author Box in Posts

Hi Im using newspaper v 4.6.2 at http://redvistajoventu.com and currently it does not display the photo for Author Box: http://www.screencast.com/t/JjJo2VOguO

Any thoughts?

Hello joventu,

If you want to display the photo for Author Box, you have to use a plugin with this functionality. Please check our documentation for more information about this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/author-card/

Hi Catalin,

I am using WP User Avatar but this has stopped working and I have not added no additional plugins from when it worked to when it stopped working. This is strange or can it a be a compatibility issue now with wordpress 4.4.1? Even the comments section stopped displaying the author’s picture.

Hello joventu,

I have tested on my side and seems to works as expected. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and WP User Avatar, clear all your caches and test it again and see how it works. Maybe you have the automatic updates for your plugins and now it could be an interference between WP User Avatar and these plugins with WP ultimate update. Please try my advice and if your problem is still there after this advice please let me know.

Thank you Catalin. Looks like the issue is related to plugin Social Login, Social Sharing by miniOrange, specifically when the settings of “Set Display Picture for User” is checked. Otherwise its working fine unchecked or once its disabled. Thanks!
