Is there a way to filter using the latest Author post?

Hello,
Depends on what page/template you want to use this option.
You can use, for example, Flex Block 1, and set the filer on the Single Post to -> Single – More Author, or in the author template to Author – Current author -> https://i.imgur.com/WTQD8xY.png
