Authors name only on specifically post category

Hello,

We have set a wordpress site with Newspaper theme.We are writing to enquire about the authors name!We want to show the author name only on specifically post category.Could us recommend a solution?

Hello tessera,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to show the author name only on certain post category, sorry! You have a setting to enable/disable the author name for a post but if you want to show this only for a certain post from a certain category, you can do this only with some if conditions, using hard coding that involves custom work. So, if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
