I have a major problem that needs correcting. When I do a search for an author’s name in the search box it seems to ignore the author’s name altogether, as in it doesn’t include anything they’ve written in the search results!
This is a major problem, as you can imagine, as many people come to news sites and search for the person they know who wrote the article (like themselves), rather than the article title. I am really hoping there is an easy fix as really this needs to work for everyone, but at very least we should be able to turn it off and on. Thank you!

Search is managed by wordpress not the theme. You might google how to improve search results.

The theme doesn’t have such a feature and you will need custom modifications as like Christopher said search is managed by wordpress so you can try an online solution to alter the search query. Only the live search is made custom for our theme and if you want to make some changes, here you can find the code – http://screencast.com/t/WtfaiiceNg
I suggest to hire a professional developer to do this for you, as we cannot provide any type of custom work at this time, sorry!
