Is there a way to show the authors in 3 columns instead of 1?

Hi,
We have only author page, not authors. There is an option in Theme Panel to show author page on full width(without sidebar) – http://screencast.com/t/okrQng1Oinll – http://screencast.com/t/Kap9mw54e
