Auto Adsense Code AMP

Google asks to place 2 pieces of code, yet Newspaper only provides space for 1 place to add auto adsense code.

How do we get auto adsense to work on AMP?

NOTE: it seems to work if you add one of the codes into the Google Analytics section.
