Not sure how many might want this, but I have had an issue where there was an error and my export of Newspaper theme settings was older than desired and had to “remember” what changes I had made, I think it would be great if there was some way to run a cron job or something that would weekly or so “Export” theme settings to a txt file? If you have any suggestion on how to do this I would be happy to write the code, but just not sure of the ability and best method. I assume there was be a way to call this manually?

Unfortunately due to the use of cloud library templates this is not as easy as it appears now. The best method still remains a full backup done with database by your host.

Thanks, part of the reason I asked is because I had a full backup of the database, but it was older and I change the WordPress Uploads folder so when I went through the database changing URL from wp-content/uploads to /media I altered the database for Newspaper it that somehow triggers the Newspaper theme to lose all settings. I did not have a simple txt backup so I had to load the database to a dummy site and then export the theme panel settings and import on the live site, and it worked from have Newspaper reset to default to but I lost several months of tweaks I had made.
