I upgraded to 494 and in the settings POST SETTINGS I have author box OFF but the author name still shows on single posts.

Hi,
From what I can see the author box is not longer display on your post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1ZeDY9O17Lp I think that there was just a cache problem.
