automatically set all posts with the new graphic template
Good evening, I found no other posts related to this topic so, hoping not to miss, I open a new one.
I changed the post template of my site and then set it to “default” post theme panel. In theory all the previous articles should have been set with the new template but it did not happen.
Some are left with the wrong template.
I think these posts are sifted not with the default template and so I assume that’s the problem… but I have 12000 posts and I can’t edit them one by one.
Is there a way to make this change automatically?
Another question: is it possible to automatically set a different template type for each category?

Hi fuska, the global post template will apply only on for that have set the option on “from panel” the posts with individual templates will still use that individual template.
Unfortunately there is no option for this in our theme, but I can help you with a code, but first please make a full backup to your website and database, then you need to go in your database in wp_options and set this code (if you have a different prefix and it is not wp_, then change the wp_postmeta with
yourWp_post_meta) in SQL tab like this -> https://i.imgur.com/AQEH4mk.png and click on go, then check your website to see if this is ok and the post template was reset.
Also if you are using cloud templates, then you can set individual post template and cloud template per category -> https://i.imgur.com/e1cvtuB.png
