avatars & author box not showing up on posts

My avatars are not showing up next to my comments on posts. Also, my author box is also not showing.
I have checked & unchecked the “show avatars” option under the discussion setting but that has no effect.

Where else can I check this?

Hi,

There seems to be a code that prevents the avatars from displaying, as well as the author box, tags, next/prev articles and bottom sharing

I could give you a quick fix to further overwrite this code, but it would be better to remove it. Please check all the theme panel Custom code sections and remove it if it is present there. Mainly check the Custom HTML and Custom CSS sections.
