You will have the same result if your title exceeds the limit you set in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/3CJkxpt6jjma (by default there are 25 words) (this is for version 6+)
If you want to change this behaviour, you can edit the theme files
The title dots can be found in the code here: http://screencast.com/t/LcJkjuuKj
You can remove or change them to your preference.
If this does not help, please provide more details to how would you like to change these dots and the theme version you use.

Unfortunately there is no 5.0 version of our theme. The theme version jumped from 4 to 6. I assume you have version 4.x. The same file controlls the excerpts in this version as well: http://screencast.com/t/0CgGb14yj4ao
