I;m not sure about the second image you want to place. You have a big grid on your page that disoplays the same post as the homepage slide. That is why you get the same image. It is the featured image of your latest post. If you use a homepage post element and a big grid element below it, please add an offset of 1 post so the post in the big picture will not show up in your grid inside the content: http://screencast.com/t/YJGvJpza
