Hello,
I am curious to know if it would be possible to override the background click ad inside the theme to allow for a plugin (Advanced Ads) to take priority? My advertiser is wanting to have two separate URLs for their background click ad, as in left side has URL 1 and the right side has URL 2. The Advanced ads plugin allows for this but it keeps getting overridden by the theme. Is there a way I could resolve this?
Thank you!
Hi,
Why not remove the link in the theme panel set for the backgrounder ad? maybe I am misunderstanding. So you have a background set in the theme panel, but don’t want the background to be clickable. There is something you could try and see if it works, try this code in the theme panel custom CSS section
.backstretch {
z-index: auto;
}
Thanks
Hello,
That is my fault for the explanation being confusing.
The theme background click ad works perfectly but what is happening is that I have a plugin that offers a background placement and allows for two clickable links. The left side has URL1 and the right side has URL2. The theme background overrides the plugin and when I remove the URL within the theme panel and leave the plugin active, the link is not clickable because the theme has an overlay that does not allow the plugin to be accessible. The plugin still tracks impressions but the link just cannot be clicked. I hope that made better sense!
Thank you!
