Hello there,

I want to modify my blog’s colors as like Twitter’s “Night Mode”. But I couldn’t change single post background and page backgrounds. Also couldn’t change homepage text color. Plus; I want to change sidebar items background as like block items background per individual. Where are the options? Or do I need to get it done by CSS, if so can you share the class/id names with me.

Hi,

So you want to allow users to set a night mode for example? Such a mode is not available in the theme. There could be plugins to add such a color switch, you could try some.

I for one use a browser extension, works perfectly. I believe many people use extensions, there are many.

If I misunderstand please correct me.
Thanks

Yeah, you get it a bit wrong. I don’t want it as an option, I want to change colors as default to users. But I couldn’t change the colors of some parts; single post background and page backgrounds. Also couldn’t change homepage text color. Plus; I want to change sidebar items background as like block items background per individual.

Sorry for misunderstanding. If there are no settings in the theme panel, we could do it with some CSS.

Also for example the text you refer to in the homepage, I will need a link to your website to see how it is built and also what text are you referring to exactly.
Most composer text elements have options for text and background colors

Mention some examples where you want to make changes, I will think of the easiest solutions.
