I would like to add a background image in some select posts, especially in my smart list as in your template demo.

Hi,
The background in that case has a simple functionality. It is related to the primary category setting
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/
The posts will inherit some elements from their primary category, including the background. So if the primary category of a post has a background image set, the post will have it to.
The guide mentions how you can manually select a primary category for a post, also what happens if you don’t.
