Hello,
First of all, congrats on your work, the theme is wonderful and a pleasure to work it, I´m loving it!
Well, I know there will be an update soon, so I´m just trying a few things and adding content as the site is online but not yet public.
I would like to know how to add a background image on menu, it will be an image, like a ribbon texture.
The URL is http://www.maisquemae.pt and I’ve put the exactly location in purple.

Hello,
In your case you can change it with this css, add it in style.css: or in V3 we have a new panel that have a custom CSS area.
.td-boxed-layout .td-menu-background .td-menu-wrap {
background-image:url('link to your image background') !important;
