Hi
I am using the homepage-blank template and used the page builder to build the frontage and am wondering if I can insert a background to the slide block as it is on the demo page on the hompepage with background option? I am currently using a site background also from the customize section for the entire website. can the two be combined?

Yes can be combined but if you want to have that background on big slider you must have to use the template with bg http://screencast.com/t/dAdqpWLo69h
