background opacity not working

Hi

I did set a color as the background <rgba(255,255,255,0.25)> at General theme colors but the opacity is not working and my homepage is still #fff bkgd!

My Newspaper is Version 8.0

I have tested the background opacity again but it seems to work properly. Please provide a link to your site so I can inspect the opacity

Thank you for your reply. The site is not online yet (maintenance page in on – http://brunnogiancoli.com.br). The background is:

body {
background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.24);
}

But still it looks like #fff.

Can I send you credentials for you to log into the website backstage?
