Background Takeover Ads Dont Work

Hi guys,

I’m really enjoying the new version of Newspaper. My problem is the latest new version seems to have broken my Background Takeover plugin ads.

The older version of Newspaper works just fine. Using Background Takeover, I had to set the Main DOM element for clickable area to DIV ID “#inner-wrap” and everything worked perfectly. Here’s a screen shot showing the setting…

Now for the problem. Apparently with the new version of Newspaper that #inner-wrap DIV had disappeared. I can’t find it in the code. And so now not only can I not click on my ad, I can’t even see it!

Since this is a major source of ad revenue for me I’m hoping you can help me understand where the “inner-wrap” DIV went, and if it’s gone how can I make my background ad work?

Oh, and I can’t use the Newspaper background ad tool because my ad has different URLs for the left and right side.

What plugin are you using exactly? I have been looking for a good background ad plugin for a long time.

Hope someone is able to answer you (they don’t work weekends).

Its called background takeover ads but unfortunately it doesn’t work with newspaper 6
