Backward compatibility 3.8.4

Thanks for the prompt update, much appreciated.

Could you clarify a statement in the 3.8.4 update log which says:
‘removed legacy code for backward compatibility’

What does this imply? Will the theme still work for internet explorer 8?

have you open the IE8 to see that it works?

I ask the colleague that put that line in the update log, and he said that he removed code that worked was used for the old Visual composer.
