BBpress emails not getting through

Hi,

We are launching forum.

A couple days ago we noticed that registration to the forum doesn´t work because emails are not getting through. We tried WP-SMTP plugin but it didn´t help. WP-SMTP sends test-emails but BBpress doesn´t. Also the contact form 7 didn´t send emails through before we downloaded WP-SMTP plugin. So, do you have any clue where the problem might be?

BBpress worked very well a couple months ago when we were creation our forum.

We have a newest Newsmag update.

Note theme doesn’t handle email, but I believe there were some changes in WordPress recently in how they connect/send email at server level.

On our particular server (we have our own box, so pretty easy to figure out what is and what is not happening on the WP side) — we could only get email via WP to work CORRECTLY using the “WP-Mail-SMTP” plugin.

Hi

It could be a plugin issue so try to deactivate all but bbpress and see if this fixes, you can also test this by switching to a default wp theme and test this.

Let us know how it goes and give us wp access via email at contact@tagdiv.com including a link to this conversation so we can also have a closer look and test this.

Try this plugin instead for SMTP because it does the setup through a wizard and picks what you need of you default website email. It has worked better than any other plugin on the repository of WordPress for me. Postman SMTP
