Ok – I searched through the forum and found this as long ago as Dec 2013 – Has this issue been resolved:
I had my forums working under a different theme and all was well. Changed the Theme to Newspaper and now forums are not showing properly:
I have the following:
Garage Sale (Category) (position 1)
Motorcycles For Sale (Sub Category) position 1 under garage sale
1901-1950 mc for sale (forum under MC for Sale) position 1
1950-1975 mc for sale (forum on MC For Sale) position 2
Parts For Sale (Sub Category) position 2 under garage sale
1901-1950 Parts for Sale (forum under parts for sale) position 1
1951-1975 Parts for Sale (forum under parts for sale) position 2
Garage Talk (Category) position 2
etc…..

Any ways – the problem is – The first category shows and you can’t get to the forums inside a sub category. This worked previously on my other theme. I’ve tried everything except modifying the php files.

Please provide your site’s URL so I can inspect this as I’m not sure I understand what your issue is. Also consider disabling all plugins then empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cache plugins or CDN host services then check again for this as this.
