When I was developing my site with the Newspaper theme, the version on my local server was 3.1. I also had the uber menu plugin installed. When I was laying out the forums, I was able to create a forum specific sidebar to load up all of the bbpress widgets.
I recently relaunched my site with version 3.6 and without uber menu. Now there is no way to add a custom menu for my forum. Is this the way the theme was designed? I really don’t want to add uber menu, but if it was what was allowing me to add customized menus I guess I will.

DO you want to add in menu columns with links? because at this moment the theme don’t have support for that and i know the Uber menu not work.

I wanted to add widgetized custom sidebars that can be used on different pages. Example being my bbpress forum. I would like to have a custom sidebar that allows me to replace the std sidebar with all bbpress widgets.
