Trying to add Taboola to result after the Author box on the single.php file. Not able to edit the right code though without breaking the theme.

Hi,
If you need it after the author box you should edit loop-single.php file: http://screencast.com/t/SwIOL6BUNk and not the single.php file and also make sure you add the php tags depending of the nature of your code.
