Best way to copy "local news" demo

Hey there
Setting up the theme on my site
Got most of it running fine with the trending and slider but curious what is the best way to get the home page and category dropdowns looking like the demo?

Hello Trigger56,

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean, regarding on ‘featured’ posts, sorry! If you are referring to this Block -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ewkeQNCpZXH notice that our demo uses the Big Grid 1/Style 4 to display the posts at the top. If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your problems and also, provide some useful screenshots so I can identify where is it and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

that is the block I would like to install on my homepage

I’m also trying to figure out how to change the layout from a “blog” style to the categorised style as shown on that demo.

Hi,

You can create a page with all the elements you want in Visual composer editor and then set it as a static homepage.
