Best way to put spacing between bullets?

Hello folks. In my blog posts, I tend to use a few bullet lists. But I would prefer that there is a single space under each item of the bullet list.

What is the best way to accomplish this? Up to now, I’ve had to place a <br> in the HTML code. Is there an easier, mor automated way to make this happen?

Where exactly do I put that code? Does it go somewhere within the Theme Panel? Can you show me by screen capture?

I went into my Theme Panel >> Custom Code >> and then entered the code.
