I’m using the NewsPaper8 theme for the first time for a client and they love the look of the Big Grid 1 element however they would like to have the ability to make the large image/post permanent when they need it to be. So for instance when they need to make a big announcement they’d like that image/post to be a sticky almost. Anyway that could happen?

Hello,
Unfortunately the big grid does not have such functionality. They can opt for a homepage post element if they want to highlight a single post at the top of the page.
