Hello guys,
First of all, this is a great theme. Congratulations!
I want to make some changes on the Big Grid (style 7), the one that has 3 columns on top.
I was thinking in making each column specific for my categories. For example, the first column show the last feature post of my category “News”, the second column show the last feature post from “reviews” and so on.
The posts on the bottom could be all mixed up, but ordered by date.
how can I do this?
If you could point me the right direction I will try to do it myself.
Many thanks and sorry for my english.
best regards

Hello Hivvu,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to change the functionalities for Big Grid feature. Please notice that kind of feature is a very complex element of Visual Composer and all the available settings can be found here -> http://screencast.com/t/JJnhTm8z In order to achieve as you wish it is necessary to alter the code from Big Grid file and this implies to have better knowledge for hard-coding and also, custom work. If you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this for you in our theme because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello Hivvu,
If you want to create a custom module you have to use API method and this is for advanced users. Please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_moduleupdate/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_moduleadd/ Please notice that are not a simple task and is required to have some hard-coding knowledge to finish with successful this implementation.
Hope this helps!
Is is not what you mean, please provide more details about your desired changes.
Thank you for the message!
Thanks Catalin,
That’s no problem, I’m a web developer too. I thought that my initial idea was possible with some options, but since it’s not I’ve being working to create another big grid, a custom one.
I’ve managed to achieve my idea with the shortcode mapper from the Visual Composer. I’m going to read the documentation to see if I’m doing everything how it’s supposed.
Thanks again and keep up the good work đ
Best regards
