I am using the News Magazine demo. In the Home Page, instead of the default Big Grid 1, I want to use the Big Grid 9. With this grid, I want to achieve 2 requirements.
1. In the grid I actually need to display the categories of Post rather than the actual posts. By this I mean, on clicking on the grid item, the user is navigated to another page similar to the home page where every post is of the same category. How do I achieve the look and feel of Big Grid 9 but with links to other pages instead of posts.
2. The Big Grid 9 displays 5 items. I need the Big Grid 9 to slide to display more categories. How do I achieve the expected behaviour.
Please assist.

1) Our theme blocks can be set to display other post types including pages if you enter the “page” post type in the post type field of the block settings like so: http://screencast.com/t/Yc9GkaCbaa
2) Unfortunately big grids cannot be made to slide. There are only 2 slider blocks available if you want sliding elements: http://screencast.com/t/f8FuiTFOm A standard grid cannot be set to slide.
Alternatively you can use revolution slider for more complex slides.
