We have on our front page in VC the Big Grid Slider (Grid Style 4), I set it to show all articles and max 12 (so 3 slides of each 4 articles).
Slide 1 shows the latest 1, 2, 3 and 4 article. However the strange thing is that slide 2 shows the latest articles 9, 10, 11 and 12. The third slide shows the latest articles 17, 18 19 and 20! There is a gap of 4 articles between slide 1 and 2 and between 2 and 3.
You can compare this via the latest news.
Any idea how to solve this?

I’m not sure what the issue is, maybe I missed something, but your slider settings pulls all your posts(from all categories) and you compared it only with posts from one category – http://tvvalkenburg.tv/category/nieuws/
Please set Nieuws category on your Slider settings – http://screencast.com/t/na5I7AnoxO and then compare it to see if you still have issues.

(allmost) all of our posts are at least of the category Nieuws. However I changed the setting in the filter to show only Nieuws but the issue is still there.

If you don’t want to show the latest posts you can use a different sorting order and see how that works out for you.

no I haven’t changed that because I want to show the latest articles in the slider. I just tried to change it form latest 12 to latest 8 articles.
Also now the problem occurs that it shows on slide 1 the latest 1,2,3,4 articles and on slide 2 the latest 9,10,11,12.
I just did a quick try with the ‘Slide’ slider (1 article per slide, 5 slides) and it shows the correct latest 5 articles.
I guess there must be something wrong with the query to fetch the latest articles for the Big Grid Slider?!

Please make sure you empty all caches and purge cdn files if using a cdn host then test again without any plugins active, besides theme’s plugins.
