Big Slide

When we upgrade to the latest version of Newspaper, the Big Slide we have been using for 6+ months without issue, all of a sudden it “skips” two whole slides on each rotation of the animation effect.

So there are two big white blocks, then the actual images show. Then at the end of the silde rotation, the two white spaces show again.

This repeats on each big slider rotation.

I would show a link, but we reverted back to the old version of the theme as this was happening.

Has anyone else had this trouble or is this a known bug? I could not find anything else about this same trouble.

BTW, we upgraded from 3.8 to 4.2 when we discovered this bug.

I saw this behaviour once, not with this slider or theme, but with another slider plugin on a different theme. I switched themes, not plugins, and it worked again, oddly enough…

Only one suggestion occurs to a layman like me: Ensure that when you update the theme, you also install the version of WPBakery Visual Composer included with it. If it’s not that, I’m not sure what it is.

Like @TheMediumUTM suggested you should try to install the version of Visual Composer which comes with theme files, also please make sure you disable all CDN plugins and empty cache, we had experimenting slider issues when using CDN.
Please let me know if you solve this and send a link if you try this again so I can check.
