Big Slide Background homepage doesn't show any post

Hi,
I’m trying to use the page template “Homepage – bg with article list” but when I see the page, the Big Slide with the color background doesn’t show any latest post. You can see the attachment.

I set the maximum post to 4.

Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure your posts have a featured image set per post. I just set this up on my site 10 minutes ago, actually.

@albuor As Christopher wrote make sure you have set featured image for posts and that the posts are or you have posts into the featured category because those posts will show up into the slider.
I have also tested this and works fine:

Ok, I checked and I didn’t get that I need to put posts in the Featured Category.

It’s possible to make the slide with background work with all recent post, or posts I assign a tag to? That’d be perfect.
