Hi, I am having trouble getting the background-image of the homepage big slide to span 100% width of the page.
It only spans about 40-50 pixels to each side of the slide. I used the “Homepage – bg – no article list” to create the page. I have also experimented with other page-styles, but have not been able to make the background span out.
Do you have any tips or solutions for this?
Regards
Hi,
Big slide background will be full width only if you don’t use theme/site background: http://screencast.com/t/mJQo636h5H
If you use site background it will look like in our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/homepage-with-background/
Thanks!
Hi Alin,
and thank you for the reply.
I have not uploaded any background-image (Theme panel -> BACKGROUND). And I’m not able to find a place to explicitly turn off background-image for the entire site, I thought it was turned off if no background image was uploaded to the Theme panel.
For the page itselves, I am using the “Homepage – bg – no article list” setting (have tried others too, but as I said with the same result). When I install the Theme locally (xampp) with the demo-content, I see the page “td_d_slug_4” has achieved the result I want – and it uses the “Homepage – bg + with article list” (using this on my site does not work either).
I must be missing some information here 🙂 Hope you are able to help me further

Hi,
First please make sure that you don’t have background color here: http://screencast.com/t/tC6yOpDdkM9
Now set Slider’s background URL: http://screencast.com/t/0MY0AWJ4
Result: http://screencast.com/t/54cVNC32c3
Hope this helps!
