Big Slide: Problem showing posts

Hi

For some strange reason, I have an issue with showing posts in the Big Slide on my homepage. It’s set to show the Featured category, but it doesn’t display anything.

The featured posts show in widgets, but not in the big slide.

Yes, I’ve done exactly that. But nothing shows. Could you take a look? The Big Slide is an important part of the design so it needs to work:

Nope. Still not showing featured posts. It shows other categories, like the one I have now, but I’m trying to get it to show featured posts.

I have 4 featured posts, and they show just fine in the sidebar on posts. Any idea why featured posts don’t show up in the big slide?

I found the problem: The unique articles feature (!)

When it’s disabled, everything works fine. The big problem, obviously: duplicate posts on the homepage. Looks sloppy.

When unique articles is enabled, the big slide with the featured posts disappear, and the posts on the first row in mega menu act as if they’re visible on the front page. I thought this was fixed in an earlier version? I have 3.6 running.

hi,

try to use less blocks on the homepage,

try to set the Big Slide to show post from another category, see if it works.

unique article system only insure that there are no duplicated articles on the page.

See my comment above. Big Slide works just fine with other categories, and it also works with Featured, as long as unique articles are disabled. It doesn’t work when unique article function is enabled.

Just to be clear: Unique article system is not supposed to hide articles in mega menu from the front page? It does that now. Is there a fix?
