Isn’t the newspaper theme compatible with IE8 ?
When i load the theme with IE8 there is only a white screen.
I deacivated all the plugins what didn’t solve the problem.
In IE9 and above, safari, firefox, chrome, there are no problems.
It works for me in IE8 on Windows XP.
However, this was with WordPress 4.01 and not the latest 4.1 released yesterday and last version of Visual Composer.
It’s possible WP 4.1 added something which would cause the theme not to work, or it could be related to the bugs in Visual Composer related to WP 4.1 — have you updated your copy of Visual Composer to the NEW version of VC released today 11.19.14 from the theme download for Newsmag? That might fix it.

I’ve deactivated all the plugins including the ones newspaper required, empty the cache but unfortunately still blank on IE8 đ

It was the plugin: optinskin, i replaced it for another one.
