Blank widgets

Appearance > Widgets

1. When creating a new sidebar, I can add widgets to it, edit and assign menus (when adding a custom menu widget). HOWEVER, as soon as I go to another area of the backend and come back, I can no longer see the widgets I have added to any of the sidebars. Nor can I delete/edit (as I can’t see them). Yet I know they are still there as if I assign the sidebar they appear when viewing live.

2. A secondary issue, probably unrelated, is that I cannot associate any custom sidebar menus to Pages if I am using the Visual Composer, only [tagDiv] widgets appear if assigned to a sidebar and then introduced with the Widgetised Sidebar.

Hi,

Please check and increase the parameters mentioned in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ as this could be causing the problem. Also try this while having only Visual composer active, to rule out maybe a plugin interference or conflict.

Hi,

Try creating a sidebar without the use of the letter “é” because the sidebars are sensitive to some language characters. Please use only standard characters in the sidebar names as these will not be displayed anywhere, so you can use any name for them without special characters or symbols.
