We are using the Block 11- Popular Stories as part of the visual composer for one of our pages. We use it to show the most popular articles of the week for our site. However, the Block 11 has been pulling in stories from three weeks past and we are just wanting the top stories from the past week. Is there a way to dictate how far back stories can be pulled from?

Note that when the “7 days” feature is used on blocks, it pulls from ALL the posts the most accessed in the last 7 days NOT the posts that are published in the last 7 days.
If you want to display the articles published in the last week you will need custom modifications, the theme has an option to display those articles but random, so you can try to change this filter – http://screencast.com/t/y7Blv2fm4uxw

Thank you for the help. You said the theme has an option to display our top articles from the week in a random order. Where is this option on the back end? The order of the articles is not as important as getting the top articles from that week specifically, and not from past weeks.

Okay that makes sense thank you. So, just making sure, there is no other way besides customizing our changes in the code to make those top 7+ stories of the week to actually come from the last 7 days of posting and not just randomly or from the entire site?

Once again using the “popular 7 days” sort order on your block it will display the most accessed posts in lates week even your article was published from 2, 5 10 years. If it has views in that week it will appear on your block.
The “Random posts from last 7 days” filter will display articles published in the last 7 days randomly. If you want to modify it, you will have to alter the code like I said above(screenshot).
