Block 13 uses thumbnail on frontpage? Blurry image

We recently started using Newspaper, and have been very satisfied with it, especially with how easy it is to structure the front page.

Now we are using Block 13 for the first article on the front page, and we see that the image used is a <700 px thumbnail, making it blurry. In the actual article, the image is used full size.

I have not found any place to change this. In the featured image settings, it is set to the full size image.

Any idea what we can change?

Thank you very much for the reply. I tried regenerating thumbnails. However, the top post on our site changed, and it was harder to see the effect on the new image.

It seems that it didn’t do much, because on the front page, the main image is still set to 696px width, while the actual width of the container is >1000px.
