Block 23: unable to change font style for Excerpt, Read More

Hi,
Using block 23, i am unable to change fonts styles for excerpt and read more button. I think post title too. I am hacking the css for now
.td-excerpt {
color: black !important;
font-size: 1.32rem !important;
line-height: 1.48 !important;
font-weight: 400 !important;

}
Please advice.

That is because you are having a plugin conflict. Please make sure you de-activate ALL of your non-theme related plugins and check again.
