Can anyone please explain to me why when I select a block type and then enable the thumb the layout completely changes on my page? I can’t figure out why this is happening. Pics attached.

Hi,
Please note that only the first layout of row is designed for blocks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/yklPEyXIPzw is possible to work on others layout too, but is most probably to have a different layout.
For a better control and more options please use flex blocks, those can be set in all layouts.
